Recently, Xu Wenqian, Chairman of Jiangsu Ausheng Composite Materials Technology Co., Ltd. and President of the District Overseas Chinese Chamber of Commerce, led a delegation of 25 overseas Chinese Chamber of Commerce representatives, including Executive Vice President Pan Ding, on a business inspection trip to Ethiopia. During this inspection, the delegation deeply connected with Ethiopia's investment policies and industrial resources through forms such as government enterprise dialogue, park research, and exchanges with Chinese businessmen, laying a solid foundation for establishing cooperation mechanisms in the future and actively exploring new paths for international trade cooperation.

After arriving in Ethiopia, the delegation had a special discussion with Zeleke Temesgen, the Chairman of the Ethiopian Investment Commission (EIC). Chairman Temesgen systematically introduced Ethiopia's investment promotion policies, emphasizing that as one of the fastest-growing economies in Africa, the government attaches great importance to attracting foreign investment and promoting economic development. President Xu Wenqian, on behalf of the inspection team, expressed gratitude for the warm reception of EIC and conducted in-depth discussions on the potential for cooperation between the two sides in areas such as infrastructure construction and manufacturing investment. Both sides agreed that strengthening communication and cooperation can achieve mutual benefit and win-win results, and jointly promote the rapid development of the Ethiopian economy.

As an important organization of the local Chinese community, the Ethiopian Chinese Association for the Promotion of Peaceful Reunification has been committed to promoting exchanges and cooperation among Chinese enterprises. At the symposium, the person in charge of the National Unification Council provided a detailed introduction to the current development status, challenges, and future development directions of Chinese enterprises in Ethiopia. The delegation members listened carefully to the introduction and put forward constructive suggestions on how to strengthen cooperation between Chinese enterprises and enhance their competitiveness. Both sides stated that they will further strengthen their contacts and cooperation, and jointly create a more favorable development environment for Chinese enterprises in Ethiopia.

3、 Industrial Park: Exploring the hotbed of industrial cooperation

At the Oriental Industrial Park, Li Wei, Vice President of the Overseas Chinese Chamber of Commerce and representative of the park, provided a detailed explanation of the park's industrial layout, local policy environment, and employment situation for the delegation. The development experience of "industrial chain cluster+localized employment" has sparked lively discussions among the delegation. The delegation also visited the Oriental Textile Printing and Dyeing Factory and Sansheng Pharmaceutical in the park.

The delegation visited the Kilinto Industrial Park, which is currently under construction. The park manager provided a detailed introduction to the park's construction progress, future plans, and investment promotion policies. The park stated that Kilinto Industrial Park, as one of Ethiopia's key industrial projects, will strive to become a regional manufacturing center, providing first-class infrastructure and preferential policy support for settled enterprises.

The delegation also visited iconic places such as Addis Ababa University and the African Union Building, further deepening their understanding and comprehension of Ethiopia's history, culture, and social development.

The delegation conducted multiple rounds of efficient and practical exchanges with Ethiopian government departments, local Chinese chambers of commerce, and business representatives during their business inspection in Ethiopia. They not only deeply connected with local investment policies and industrial resources, but also comprehensively understood Ethiopia's business environment and market potential through on-site visits to industrial parks and other methods.
