On December 26th, the Sixth Council of Jiangsu Overseas Friendship Association was grandly held in Nanjing, at which Hu Guangjie, member of the Standing Committee of Jiangsu Provincial Party Committee and Minister of the United Front Work Department of Jiangsu Provincial Party Committee, was elected as the president of the Sixth Council of Jiangsu Overseas Friendship Association, and Xu Wenqian, chairman of Jiangsu Aosheng Composites Science and Technology Co.

Jiangsu Overseas Friendship Association, established in 1987, is an important window for overseas liaison and communication in Jiangsu Province. It is a province-wide social organization aiming at promoting exchanges and cooperation between all social sectors in Jiangsu Province and compatriots in Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan as well as overseas compatriots, promoting the development of various undertakings in Jiangsu Province, facilitating the reunification of the motherland and revitalizing China.

This election is not only a recognition of Chairman Xu Wenqian's personal ability, but also a high evaluation of his active participation in the economic construction of the motherland and social welfare undertakings over the years. As a member of the Jiangsu Provincial Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC), President of the Hong Kong-Macau Suzhou Youth Association, and Vice Chairman of the Overseas Chinese Association of Wujiang District, Chairman Xu Wenqian has always adhered to the belief that “the hearts of overseas Chinese will always follow the Party”, paid close attention to the development of the country, and closely followed the pace of the Party to ensure that the direction of the enterprise's development is in line with the country's overall situation of development. Mr. Xu Wenqian said that being elected as the vice president of the Sixth Council of Jiangsu Overseas Friendship Association is a high affirmation and trust to him, and that he will participate in the work of the Association more actively, play the role of Hong Kong and Macao representatives as a bridge in the mainland, and be a good “spokesman” for the development of the mainland publicity and promotion.
