Recently, the first YD97CR (T) carbon fiber blade of Times New Materials rolled off the assembly line at the Binxian factory of Zhuzhou Times New Materials. This is the first 97-metre wind turbine blade under the company's carbon fibre project. Aosheng Technology provided carbon fiber pultruded carbon plate for the blade. Guided by customer needs, Aosheng closely cooperates with customers to complete every process such as audit, R&D, production, delivery, customer service, etc., in order to keep up with the pace of customer production, the R&D department is full of firepower, completing the R&D task in just 10 days, and finally helping the blade to go off the production line smoothly.

Large-scale drives the development of lightweight blades

Carbon fiber stands out from the encirclement

Considering that the blade length is an important factor affecting the power generation efficiency of the wind turbine, the longer the length, the larger the sweeping area, and the more wind energy can be captured. In line with the development trend of large-scale, carbon fiber can give full play to its lightweight advantages. Compared with glass fiber, the tensile elastic modulus of carbon fiber reinforced materials is 2-3 times that of glass fiber reinforced materials, and the use of carbon fiber reinforced materials for large blades can give full play to its advantages of high elasticity and light weight. Compared with the glass fiber girder blades of the same level, the weight of the blades using carbon fiber girder can be reduced by 20%-30%, and the load transmitted to the main engine can be reduced, so as to achieve 15%-20% weight reduction of structural components such as hubs, nacelles, towers and pile foundations, and can effectively reduce the overall cost of the wind turbine by more than 10%. According to the data, in 2022, the proportion of carbon fiber used in the wind power field in the world/China will be 25.7%/23.5% respectively, ranking first/second in each application field.

The "Little Giant" was born at the right time

The main technical routes for the production of blades include vacuum infusion molding process, prepreg laying process and pultrusion process. The utilization rate of raw materials in the pultrusion process is more than 95%. Compared to infusion molding, carbon fiber pultruded sheet has a 25% higher tensile modulus and a 42% higher compressive strength than infusion carbon fiber. Aosheng Technology has devoted itself to the research and development of wind turbine blade carbon plate manufacturing technology for many years, and has become an indispensable supply chain leader in the wind power industry with its mature pultrusion molding process. The 97-meter wind turbine blade carbon plate provided for Times New Materials is made using an integrated pultrusion molding process.
